It's officially summertime! This is going to be an incredible summer now that we have some of our freedoms back to gather in larger groups, travel, and socialize more. Although Summer officially started on June 20th, all of us at our Denver flower shop and garden center have been in summer mode for many weeks. Veteran’s Day Celebrations in Denver

Wednesday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day, a day we honor all those who have served in wars and conflicts around the world. These brave individuals have fought for our freedoms and assisted other countries win theirs. This special day was celebrated throughout Denver over the past weekend with all types of festivities, including a run, parade, and festival. It gave us all a chance to thank those veterans in the area and remember what it means to be a soldier. There is still time to thank all the veterans tomorrow with a special flower arrangement or purchase a wreath or basket to place near a loved one that has passed away. Time to Celebrate the 4th of July

This is the time of year for an Independence Day celebration whether it is a local event here in Denver or it is something you are hosting at home or in your neighborhood. Among the parades, picnics, barbecues and fireworks is the idea that we are celebrating our independence and freedom as a nation and as citizens of that nation. Denver 4th of July Celebrations The Denver city website offers a long list of great events centered around the 4th of July. Here are some of the highlights: There will be a free event at Civic Center Park on July 3, including an innovative light show and patriotic concert. The Colorado Symphony will put on a concert at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on July 4th. The Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park will have a fireworks display on July 4th. The Park Hill 4th of Jul Parade is a family-friendly event with marching bands, floats, and acrobats.
