Screen Shot 2018-12-12 at 9.54.30 AMWednesday, December 12th is National Poinsettia Day. This festive day recognizes the symbol of Christmas and encourages all of to get in the Christmas spirit (if we aren’t already!). Poinsettia plants are a festive way to decorate a home or business plus they make thoughtful gifts for loved ones, clients, service personnel, and colleagues.

This year, we’ve expanded our poinsettia collection. It not only includes traditional poinsettia plants, but we’ve also added some unique colors and arrangements for this holiday season.

First, we have both six-inch and eight-inch poinsettia plants to choose from in both red, white, and mixed colors like our Jingle Bell Poinsettia.

These holiday plants are also available in different containers, such as a ceramic pot, wicker basket, or holiday tin container. Screen Shot 2018-12-12 at 9.55.22 AMWe’ll let you know what’s available when you place your order in our Denver flower shop, by phone, or online through our website.

One of our latest additions this year proves that poinsettias don’t have to be red.  We are offering peach Colorado-grown poinsettias that arrive in a six-inch holiday tin, ceramic container, or woven basket.

Then, we offer some unique arrangements that include poinsettias:

COLORADO CHRISTMAS LIVING GARDEN BASKET

The Colorado Christmas Living Garden Basket includes seasonal foliage, blooming plants, and a Colorado-grown poinsettia. Each plant arrives in its own individual container and can be re-potted as they outgrow their baskets. Call or come into our Denver flower shop to check what plants are available for this basket.   Screen Shot 2018-12-12 at 10.22.08 AM

A wicker peanut-shaped basket contains two Colorado-grown six-inch poinsettia plants. A bow finishes off this holiday basket.
