Along with other in-person events this summer, we are so excited to see that weddings are returning to Denver venues. Although we helped provide some wedding flowers this past year for Denver micro-weddings, it’s great to be able to be back to many more weddings of all sizes.
Despite not being able to participate in many Denver weddings, our floral design team remained busy, researching seasonal floral trends and coming up with more possible floral designs for weddings and events when they would return.
Now that we are back to a busy season of summer weddings and summer events, we are here to help you take that dream wedding in Denver and make it a reality.
Besides a dedicated wedding flower site full of stunning wedding flowers from a wide range of weddings, we also have an insightful team that can share their thoughts on the most recent wedding flower trends.
Here are some of the summer wedding flower trends they see now:
Personal Preference Over Traditional Color Palate
If beige and blush are not your preferred colors, this season is the time to break free and opt for whatever colors define your love and relationship. The biggest trend is for unique personal style over the traditional wedding color palate. If those colors are bold, fluorescent, or muted, it’s okay because the wedding should be about what you and your partner want.
Unique Blooms
Traditional flowers are also not on-trend. Instead of roses and carnations, it’s the time to seek out interesting flowers and accents, such as peonies, sunflowers, dahlias, and more. These standout flowers can be a focal point to use from your bouquet to the centerpieces to the cake flowers.
Minimalist Feel
Whether it’s out of frugality or the understanding that less really is more in a post-COVID, environmentally-sensitive world, bouquets have shrunk from oversized, cascading styles to much smaller floral displays.
Room for Dramatic Effect
While smaller is better when it comes to bouquets, that’s not to say that other wedding flowers cannot go big. For example, the summer wedding flower trend is for larger floral displays along the aisle during the wedding ceremony or for large arches or floral displays throughout the wedding ceremony and reception areas.
