Thanksgiving Events in Denver

Thanksgiving is about a great meal with family and even friends. There’s also parades and football not to mention the start of the holiday shopping season. Beyond all those fun things, there are also some great activities here in Denver that are for a great cause and can involve the entire family. One Thanksgiving event we would like to highlight this year is the Run Your Yams Off at the 41st Annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot. The event is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, which is Thursday, November 27th. It will be held in Washington Park. Participants are welcome to run or walk the four-mile event. There is also a separate fun run that you can do with the kids that is only one-quarter mile long. In the past, up to 10,000 people have participated and this year already promises to bring out that many people and even more! There will be a start village
