Veterans Day is November 11th, and it is a special day where we stop and pay tribute to all those on active duty and those we have lost who have given themselves to ensure our freedom and security as a nation and for all of us as citizens. We think those from the armed forces, including the Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard, which include men and women we count as American heroes. Although we may not be having a Veterans Day parade here in Denver or other public festivities or ceremonies, we can still let our veterans know we appreciate and honor them.
